Party Royale is a new mode that was introduced in the Fortnite v12.50 update.
And on Friday, May 8 at 9 PM ET Fortnite is hosting the Party Royale Premiere.
The Party Royale Premiere will feature live sets from Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, and Deadmau5 on the Main Stage in Party Royale.
If you can’t make the show at exactly 9 PM ET, then you’re able to see the rest of the show as long as you’re there before it ends at 10 PM ET.
And if you can’t make it at all, don’t worry. The Party Royale Premiere will return for a rebroadcast on the Main Stage on May 9 from 2 PM to 3 PM ET.

Along with the Party Royale Premiere comes a free reward for all Fortnite players.

The afterparty
Of course, the live show at the Main State is just one of the many things that you can partake in at Party Royale.
You see, Party Royale is a new experimental and evolving space where you leave your weapons and mats behind.
You can take on obstacle courses, participate in boat races, and just generally have fun without the constant fear of dying as you would in the regular Battle Royale mode in Fortnite.
This live show is going to be a great opportunity for Fortnite to test all the attractions available at Party Royale to gather some quantitative feedback.
I love Fortnite’s live events, especially when there’s music involved.
The Marshmello concert and the recent Astronomical event with Travis Scott were fantastic. And I expect this Party Royale Premiere to be great, too.
But unfortunately, as I live in the UK the times for the Party Royale Premiere don’t work for me and I’m not going to be able to catch the live show. So I’m going to have to watch the rebroadcast on May 9.
